Description

Waterbed. One name, two interpretations : the water mattress of my childhood memories, the flotation medium, where sleep and dreams arrive while water lies beneath the body, and then, a water bed, indefinite, a big body of water somewhere anywhere to float onto with our own, oxygen filled, human bodies.

Waterbed is a solid .925 silver ring, featuring a rhombus shaped hand sawn Abalone shell piece (pāua), mainly in iridescent light pink/ green colors. It is a timeless piece of design with a twist - literally. Fits best on your right hand,  following the natural curves of your fingers and palm. Ideal option if you are looking for a chevalier ring.
Care

Quick tips to keep your treasures shining:
✶ Wear often, silver loves the skin's natural oils.
✶ Remove before exercising, cleaning, bathing, swimming, or hot springs.
✶ Keep in your soft pouch or a closed box to minimize oxidation.
✶ Never use chemical silver baths for pieces with seashells. Clean with warm water + mild soap only.

MATERIALS + DETAILS

Shell measures approx. 10mm x 10mm.
Select your preferred color palette before adding to cart.
Pinks give green hues at the same time, depending on different light reflections.

Please note that each piece is uniquely handcrafted, so slight variations may occur. Every abalone shell piece is also naturally one-of-a-kind, with its own unique pattern and hues. We always hand-select the closest match to your choice and do our best to recreate our designs as depicted. All elements are cut, filed, assembled, soldered, and polished by hand in Athens, Greece. As most pieces are handmade to order, please allow 7-14 business days for the creation and shipment of your piece.
