Description

The Dauer Larva cuff features 47grams of a solid gold plated brass bangle for the wrist, initially hand-carved in wax. Dauer stands for the enduring and it is a description of alternative developmental stages of a certain type of worms, entering a type of stasis and surviving harsh conditions. Carved along its back, this cuff features the traces of the bodies of larvae, as a living reminder of all harsh conditions one can endure.

Quick tips to keep your treasures shining:
✶ Wear often, silver loves the skin's natural oils.
✶ Remove before exercising, cleaning, bathing, swimming, or hot springs.
✶ Keep in your soft pouch or a closed box to minimize oxidation.
✶ Never use chemical silver baths for pieces with seashells. Clean with warm water + mild soap only.

MATERIALS + DETAILS

Solid brass cuff bracelet.
Cuff measures Ø5.7cm inner diameter and 9mm wide.
One size.
Ideal for wrists that measure 14-16 perimeter.
This design is not adjustable. We find that the easiest method for wearing such bracelets on and off is by wearing it on through the thumb first.
You can choose between Gold Plated Brass or Solid .925 Silver before checkout.
