Mokuna is a solid .925 silver ring, featuring an oval hand sawn Abalone shell piece (pāua).
In Hawaiian folk tales, Mokuna is presented as the evil mo'o, a water spirit, competitor of the sea goddess called Hina. Enjoy this power captured in a bold design resembling oval lakes and rocks, with magnificent sea colors.

Mo'o's are believed to have developed from gecko lizards to human women and then to sea goddesses. They can live in both salt and fresh waters, found in hawaiian lagoons, ponds, rivers, and mostly in the ocean. There is a Hawaiian expression that inside each woman lives a little Mo'o.

Shell measures approx. 8mm x 10mm
You can select your desired color range before proceeding to checkout. Please keep in mind that each abalone shell piece is unique and might slightly vary in color. We always do our best to choose the most relative one for you. If you have any specific desire please contact us through our instagram page or at noxpiria@gmail.com
